Only 24 more days until the 36th annual Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival! I'm getting excited. Isn't the festival art winner cool this year? I love this artist, Amy Law. There is a Ravelry group for MDSW (of course) and I've learned a few choice tidbits about this year's show by trolling over there:
- Some exhibitors post festival coupons on their website - so far I know of ones from Bijou Basin Ranch and Jacob's Reward Farm. Print!
- Supposedly, 2009 festival merchandise will be available online before the 2009 show this year. It's not up yet, but wouldn't you love to avoid that t-shirt line? This year's design might be especially attractive on notecards or tote bags.
- Rumor also has it that there will be some kind of express line for t-shirt purchases only. We'll see. Last year (or was it two years ago?) I swore I wouldn't stand in that line again.
