I ran across this fun-sounding event on a blog. It’s in Savage Mill, MD, which looks like it is pretty near BWI – quite drivable for locals. There will be a marketplace, knitting/spinning/crocheting lessons for beginners, sit-and-knit (or whatever), door prized, etc. The list of vendors looks pretty tempting:
The event is at Historic Savage Mill, an old mill that is now a shopping center for antiques, crafts, art, and other funky stuff. They even have resident artists there. This is potentially a destination for the non-knitter in your family, too.
Anyone want to go?
